From alias field per switch, provided by Admin that would show instead of IP.
To auto-populated SNMP location, ifAlias and IfDescr that would be synchronized using a daemon that would scan all the switches in configuration from time to time (or maybe to begin with it would do a SNMP when adding the switch the first time).
