DescriptionIt would be great if PF could use the CDP MIB to detect where the IP phones are on the switch ports. That would help PF to track the location of the devices.

We didn't really "fix" anything, we know that CDP discovery works for Cisco's.

What was your original intent when you opened the issue? We don't have a daemon polling CDP info but what's done is we interactively poll CDP for an ifIndex if we need to check for a phone.

I'm not sure if the above fulfills what you mentioned: "That would help PF to track the location of the devices.".

However, the issue either needs to be more precise or closed.

for RADIUS we were not triggering the LLDP / CDP code, was fixed sometime last week
