You have el5 packages mixed with el6 packages. Make sure to disable any el5 repositories from your system. Then do a:
# yum clean all
Then put on your cowboy hat (aka "I'm not afraid of breaking things" mode) and do:
# yum erase `rpm -qa | grep el5`
This will get rid of all el5 packages at the cost of also removing things depending on them like, most likely, PacketFence.
Then re-do:
# yum --enablerepo=rpmforge,epel install PacketFence
or
# yum --enablerepo=rpmforge,epel groupinstall PacketFence-complete |

Two identical bug report. Is there something wrong in our documentation regarding CentOS 5 vs 6? I just rechecked and couldn't find anything wrong. |
I will test this out next maintenance window, I followed the guide on the website and installed to necessary dependencies through yum. Not sure how the versions became mixed up. |
I will also test this. The only thing I am thinking that may have caused this was I may have used the RPMforge for CentOS 5 instead of 6. I will run through the setup tonight and see if I am able to run the configurator... if I have time I will also try to duplicate the error if possible by using the wrong RPMforge to verify that was the issue. Thanks |
No need to verify, I'm pretty sure that is what happened as I went through the same mistake on my last setup.. |
I ran through the setup last night and the configurator.pl worked fine. It must have been the RPMforge for CentOS 5. Thanks for your help. |

Ok thanks alexanderd.
jhlasnik if you can confirm that it worked for you too I would close this ticket. Thanks |
