| Description | i tried to evaluate packetfence on debian wheezy but i can't get it up and running due to packetfence failed to start correctly after installation. step i have done to install packetfence are as follow: 1. install debian wheezy (basic packages only) 2. install openssh-server to access the server using ssh 3. modify /etc/apt/source.list to the following: # deb cdrom:[Debian GNU/Linux 7.2.0 _Wheezy_ - Official amd64 DVD Binary-1 20131012-14:05]/ wheezy contrib main #deb cdrom:[Debian GNU/Linux 7.2.0 _Wheezy_ - Official amd64 DVD Binary-1 20131012-14:05]/ wheezy contrib main deb http://security.debian.org/ [^] wheezy/updates main contrib non-free deb-src http://security.debian.org/ [^] wheezy/updates main contrib non-free # wheezy-updates, previously known as 'volatile' # A network mirror was not selected during install. The following entries # are provided as examples, but you should amend them as appropriate # for your mirror of choice. # deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ [^] wheezy-updates main contrib non-free deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ [^] wheezy-updates main contrib non-free deb http://ftp.ir.debian.org/debian [^] wheezy main contrib non-free **i attached non-free to repos to be able to install snmp-mibs-downloader package** 4. add packetfence repository to /etc/apt/source.list.d/packetfence.list as it stated in installation guide and add its key. 5. sudo apt-get update 6. sudo apt-get install packetfence 7. the packages downloaded but when they were getting set up, i got some errors while starting freeradius that were about heartbleed vulnerability. 8. i modified /etc/freeradius/radiusd.conf and change "allow_vulnerable_openssl" to yes 9. i continued to install packetfence using "apt-get install packetfence" again. After this step i got some prompt about mysql root user password and leave them unchanged. after all the packages installed packetfence service failed to start with this error: root@debian:/usr/local/pf/db# service packetfence start service|command Failed to open /usr/local/pf/conf/pf.conf: No such file or directory at /usr/share/perl5/CHI/Driver.pm line 445. memcached|start httpd.admin|not started Checking configuration sanity... FATAL - please define exactly one management interface FATAL - internal network(s) not defined! FATAL - networks.conf cannot be empty when services.dhcpd is enabled WARNING - We have been unable to load your configuration. Are you sure you ran configurator ? according to above explanation, what would be the problem? | ||||
