0001147: Problems with TAB chars in the various configuration files

Description

If there is only one tabulation char in the PF configuration files, the software may have a strange behavior.

Configuration problems should be detected at the service startup, and should print an error in the logs if not supported chars are detected in the configuration files with the defective line.
